We captured this scene after getting up at 3am to begin our hike down to Dove Lake to see the sunrise over Cradle Mountain and enjoy the incredible snow dump from overnight. When we awoke the full moon was still shining as the sun was slowly rising. The moonlight was hitting the snow and making it sparkle like diamonds to match the stars still sparkling up in the sky. In the stillness of the morning we could not resist stopping and observing the untouched snow and taking in the cool morning air.
